Energy Savings Plan AKA ESP Plan
I. To perform bi-annual tune-ups per year, 1 for cooling and 1 for heating, for the term of this agreement.
- A. COOLING SCHEDULE
- Lubricate the blower and all motor bearings
- Check and adjust the blower belt and if necessary, replace with new belt.
- Clean or replace standard 1 inch disposable air filters. All other filters are chargeable to the customer.
- Check refrigerant pressures if a low Delta T or problem a is detected.
- Check coil temperature; inspect for breaks or leaks and check air temperature across condenser.
- Check, calibrate, and adjust, if necessary, thermostat and controls.
- B. HEATING SCHEDULE
- Lubricate the blower and all motor bearings.
- Check all wiring and coils for breaks or leaks.
- Check and adjust blower belt and, if necessary, replace with new belt.
- Clean or replace standard 1 inch disposable air filters. All other filters are chargeable to the customer.
- Completely clean the entire furnace chamber including flue pipe (does not include chimney).
- Adjust and set primary air shutters to insure proper fuel ignition and economical operation of furnace.
- Check, calibrate, and adjust, if necessary, thermostat and controls.
BUYER HEREBY AGREES:
- To call and schedule their bi-annual tune-ups.
- To grant free access to all equipment during normal working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm)
IT IS FURTHER AGREED THAT:
- This agreement provides for two (2) tune-ups per year as outlined above and up to one pound of R410 only refrigerant per year.
- The Buyer is entitled to a 10% discount on parts and/or labor necessary for any repairs.
- This agreement does not provide full coverage to parts, labor, or repairs not specifically outlined above.
- This agreement does not cover any ductwork, dampers, suction lines, breakers, fuses, electrical circuits, UV lights, condensate pumps, or additions to the system needed because of expansion of the home originally covered by this agreement.
- This agreement does not include any oil-fired equipment.
- This agreement is not a replacement contract.
- This agreement is transferable.
- This agreement is nonrefundable.
- The Seller shall not be liable for any conditions existing on the premises with respect to any water damage, water problems, mold contamination and/or mold problems.
- The Seller shall not be liable for damage to HVAC equipment due to the storage and/or use of chemical substances in the home that may produce noxious gasses.
- The Seller cannot guarantee the equipment quality, sizing, or ductwork installed by other contractors.
- The Seller reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time.
- The Seller reserves the right to reschedule routine tune-ups when necessary to perform emergency service calls.
- This agreement is perpetual. It is automatically renewed upon payment of the invoices. The Seller reserves the right to review service contract prices and to adjust these prices when deemed necessary, with or without notice to Buyer.
- This agreement contains the entire agreement and shall become effective when accepted by the Buyer AND approved by the Seller.
- The Seller shall not be liable for any loss of service due to labor disputes, fire, explosions, acts of God or other such circumstances beyond Seller’s normal control.
BELAIR ENGINEERING AND SERVICE CO., INC. RESERVES THE RIGHT at any time of first inspection and acceptance of the Service Agreement to qualify coverage or to omit from coverage, there under, any equipment of sub-standard quality or capacity, which in the judgment of Belair Engineering and Service Co., Inc. would present a hazard or would be subject or abnormal maintenance or failure rate.
